There was a man considering the Catholic faith, but he faced an obstacle. He feared that devotion to the Blessed Virgin would take away from the centrality of Jesus Christ as Savior of the World. I explained to him there is no fear of this if we will follow the example of the Wise Men - and discover Jesus "together with His Mother” (Mt. 2:11).
Jesus cannot be separated from His Mother nor indeed from the entire Communion of Saints. Christ is the New Adam. Mary is the New Eve. As the Queen at Christ's right hand, she teaches us how to adore the Lord. Mary forms our hearts to love like Christ and she molds us to think with the mind of Christ.
