Otche nash - Kedrov

This intimate setting of the Lord's Prayer was written by the Russian composer Nikolay Kedrov for his own vocal quartet. Kedrov himself was a baritone, and sang at the Bolshoy and Mariinsky Theatres before forming his successful quartet in 1897. This archive footage was recorded in St Augustine, Kilburn, with Nigel Short directing.
