Easter Novena

Fr. Scott A. Haynes

You are invited to pray this nine-day Novena beginning on Easter Sunday. Nine Masses will be offered.
You are invited to submit your Prayer Requests and to say the daily Novena Prayer.

O Divine Saviour, who rose from the dead on that first glorious Easter morn, grant that I may rise from my sins and so live as to see You, glorious and immortal, in heaven. Lord, I am nothing, but, although nothing, I adore You.

Through the glorious mystery of Your Resurrection, I ask You to help me to rise with You spiritually and to live a life free from sin, that I may set my heart upon doing God's will in all things, and may be patient in suffering.

Through the Sacraments may my soul be enriched evermore with sanctifying grace, the source of Divine life. I also ask that you grant me this special request: [Mention your request]. May Thy Will be done! Amen.

V. Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia.

R. For He whom thou didst merit to bear, alleluia.V. Has risen, as He said, alleluia.

R. Pray for us to God, alleluia.

V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.

R. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.

Let us pray. O God, who through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, didst vouchsafe to give joy to the world; grant, we beseech Thee, that through His Mother, the Virgin Mary, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

As we turn with confidence to Our Risen Lord, we thank Him for shedding His Precious Blood on the Cross to save us from our sins and from everlasting death.
